Caste: Tharu caste, which is thought to be amongst the first inhabitants of the Terai area in Nepal and traditionally had largely animistic beliefs involving the worship of forest spirits and ancestral deities but later was increasingly influenced by Hinduism. Being the third of our JUX staff bearing the family name Chaudhary, he is also the brother- in-law of the brothers Giridar and Manoj.

Status : 30 years old, is married and has one son and one daughter (10 and 3 years old)

Hobby : Spending time with his children and making clothes for family or friends
Education : He went to school till grade 9, until his 18 years

Career : At 19 he learned his skills with a local tailor in his village and then he moved to Kathmandu . He worked in a company stitching Nepali goods for an import-export business. He gathered 9 years of work experience stitching of which 6 years also pattern making. Now he is working for JUX as a stitcher since three months. He keeps himself fit by coming to work every day on the bicycle, which is about a one hour drive from his house.

Background:He comes from the jungle area of Saptari, where he goes to see his family every year for the Hindu Dasain festival. Dasain is a 15 day national holiday which is celebrated every year just before rice is harvested.
