Fashionistas pay attention! Summer is in full swing and we all love to browse through the city for sale. Yesterday a temporal pop-up store in Rotterdam opened its doors to sell unique and self-made items. Such unique products you can rarely find if you go shopping. The target is to let you smile and leave with a lot of special items in your bag. It is an inititative of Geek de Musik, which is part of the colourful webshop Geek de Chique. It´s so chique to be a geek!
JUX is also selling its summer stock there, so if you want to make your bargain buy go and get your unique piece!
You can find the pop-up store at the West-Kruiskade in Rotterdam.

We are back from Copenhagen and we had a great time on the fair. We met a lot of new and interesting people and got inspired by the beautiful danish fashionistas. Now we are busy with the orders and Jitske is working on the new collection for summer 2011, exciting!
Since two weeks I´m working for Studio JUX and I had the chance to follow the team to the fair in Copenhagen. As a newcomer in the fashion world it was very exciting for me to go there. Already by thinking about what I´m supposed to wear I got excited and couldn´t wait to experience Copenhagen. When we came there we had to build the stand and the next day the fair officially started. Everybody was dressed up and I did a special effort to pimp my make-up to not immediatly jump out as a “newcomer”! It started quiet and I had my time to observe how everything works. Before I studied all the fabrics, materials and what I could tell about JUX. Then the moment came that I got my chance to tell someone interested the story behind our brand. What a challenge, to be convincing, switch between the languages and to also ask questions. But I managed it and even got the time to shop around a bit, Copenhagen is really a precursor in Fashion and it was amazing to see how trendy the danish people are.
Interesting experience to get a look behind the glamour world!

On November 19, 2009 a brand new store with a story opened in Amstelveen: the CLF store. CLF stands for Child Labour Free. The pop-up store is found by Stop Child Labour, a European campaign that fights against child labour and fights for accessible education for all children under 15.
The CLF store gives consumers the possibility to buy child labour free. Next to JUX, you can also buy sportswear of Houdini, women’s fashion of Noir and children products of Imps & Elfs, Anne-Claire Petit and David & Luna.
If you’re Dutch and want to support child labour free brands, go to Binnenhof 37 in Amstelveen and buy your December gifts in the CLF store.
Open November 19 – November 28.
Opening concept store Charlie + Mary in Amsterdam

Charlotte and Marieke just opened their concept store Charlie + Mary. In their beautiful store you can find JUX and other sustainable brands. The nice interior is made of recycled products: their counter is made from doors, the floor used to be a ceiling and their coffee table used to be a train! These girls know how to recycle. When you’re in Amsterdam go and have a look. Take some time for an organic coffee and pastry. I really like My Paper Bag and the skin care products of (Malin + Goetz). And you should buy something, just to get the Charlie + Mary cotton bag. It’s part of your lifestyle. Congrats Charlotte and Marieke!
