Studio JUX at the Dutch Environmental Film Festival

Also this year Strawberry Earth organizes the Dutch Environmental Film Festival (DEFF), an annual platform for the best international, environmental films and documentaries.
Each year DEFF screens major international and national premieres, hosts inspirational speakers and creative green organization, and organises memorable festival parties with talent from the European DJ and live music scene.
DEFF is the only major international film festival in the world that uses 100% of all money raised to make the screening venues eco friendlier. Moreover, DEFF has grown to become one of Europe’s premier environmental film festivals.
June 3 and 5 DEFF takes place at Studio K in Amsterdam and June 4 in Lantaren Venster, Rotterdam.
June 4 and 5 JUX will also be there and we will present our new accessory line. So are you curious?
Studio JUX at Frisgroen in Zwolle

On May 16 Studio JUX went to Zwolle to be part of the green lifestyle event Frisgroen . The event was organized in the poppodium of Hedon in Zwolle. You could see different fashion acts on the catwalk, among them Studio JUX with its spring/summer collection 2010. The models showed the collections of different fashion labels and during their perfomances they were accompanied by live music. Besides Studio JUX spring/summer collection, we showed the newly introduced ‘Stoere Vrouwen’ collection. This collection is designed for the Stoere Vrouwen organisation, who promotes shopping to improve the world. You as a consumer can make a difference by what you buy. Awearness Fair Fashion – Guerillastore

From the 14th till 24th of april the Awearness Fair Guerillastore will be opened at the Hommelstraat 65 in the Modekwartier in Arnhem. This temporal store will offer a lot of trendy and affordable fair women-, men and kidsfashion as well as organic bedcovers, handmade bags, scarfs, other accessories and books.
There you can buy your JUX piece for this spring and summer. There will be also a special corner for designers from the Modekwartier.
So go there and show your support at the sustainable fashion month in Arnhem!
Funky Paas Market

This week we will celebrate Easter and on 4th of April there will be a funky Easter market at the Cultuurpark Westergrasfabriek in Amsterdam.
JUX will be present there and sell its sexy summer collection. The entrance is free and it will start at 12 o´clock until 18 o´clock. You can also discover a lot of other art, fashion, bio food and kids stuff. So spring is coming and its shopping time, go and get your JUX piece for this season!
Puha – new shop in town

On Friday 19th of March there will be the grand opening of the new shop PUHA in Utrecht. 
They sell clothes and accessories for women and men created by young designers. JUX will also be available there, as also a lot of other creative and young brands. They will be open from monday till saturday and special openings on sundays. For more information have a look at their site.

Studio JUX at Atmosphere in Paris!

From Friday 5th to Monday 8th March 2010 JUX will be present at the fair Atmosphere in Paris. 
The fair will take place at the Jardin des Tuileries from 9am to 19pm. More than 20 countries will represent their collections and JUX is already excited to go there. The exhibiton has two floors and our standnumber will be 113! We will show our fall-winter collection 10/11.
So come and visit our stand and we will show you our latest vision so you can be trendy and sustainably dressed next season!
The CPH Vision experience

We are back from Copenhagen and we had a great time on the fair. We met a lot of new and interesting people and got inspired by the beautiful danish fashionistas. Now we are busy with the orders and Jitske is working on the new collection for summer 2011, exciting!
Since two weeks I´m working for Studio JUX and I had the chance to follow the team to the fair in Copenhagen. As a newcomer in the fashion world it was very exciting for me to go there. Already by thinking about what I´m supposed to wear I got excited and couldn´t wait to experience Copenhagen. When we came there we had to build the stand and the next day the fair officially started. Everybody was dressed up and I did a special effort to pimp my make-up to not immediatly jump out as a “newcomer”! It started quiet and I had my time to observe how everything works. Before I studied all the fabrics, materials and what I could tell about JUX. Then the moment came that I got my chance to tell someone interested the story behind our brand. What a challenge, to be convincing, switch between the languages and to also ask questions. But I managed it and even got the time to shop around a bit, Copenhagen is really a precursor in Fashion and it was amazing to see how trendy the danish people are.
Interesting experience to get a look behind the glamour world!
Jux goes to CPH Vision 2010 in Copenhagen

After Berlin we will be present at the CPH Vision in Copenhagen to show our latest trends. Fashionistas can visit us at stand 95 from 11 to 14 february. We will show our winter collection 10/11! So if you wanna be trendy and sustainably dressed next winter you should visit the fair to meet us and to get updated of our latest vision.
The CPH Vision will take place in the historically known Øksnehallen. This fair offers an intimate platform for upcoming as also established brands. This year the exhibition is even expanding because of its popularity, so there will be 2 Terminals were all designers and stands can be found.

JUX in CLF store

On November 19, 2009 a brand new store with a story opened in Amstelveen: the CLF store. CLF stands for Child Labour Free. The pop-up store is found by Stop Child Labour, a European campaign that fights against child labour and fights for accessible education for all children under 15.
The CLF store gives consumers the possibility to buy child labour free. Next to JUX, you can also buy sportswear of Houdini, women’s fashion of Noir and children products of Imps & Elfs, Anne-Claire Petit and David & Luna.
If you’re Dutch and want to support child labour free brands, go to Binnenhof 37 in Amstelveen and buy your December gifts in the CLF store.
